On June 17, China State Shipbuilding Corporation and CMA CGM held a high-level video conference to discuss the future market and ship type development trends.

Lei Fanpei, Chairman of CSSC, expressed his appreciation and congratulations on the brilliant achievements of CMA CGM under the leadership of Chairman Saadé in recent years, and introduced the business development of CSSC.
He said that since the reorganization, the newly established China State Shipbuilding Corporation has established the strategic goal of "building a world-class shipping group with a reasonable industrial structure, prioritizing quality and efficiency, and strong international competitiveness".

Since 2012, the two parties have signed a number of milestone projects, with more than 50 container ships of different specifications.
Saadé thanked CSSC for its support and assistance to CMA CGM, and agreed with Lei Fanpei's proposal for cooperation.

CSSC has fully fulfilled its responsibility as the main platform for the market of the marine industry. In recent years, it has successively undertaken many large orders of over 10 billion yuan from CMA CGM, and has forged a friendly and mutual trust relationship with CMA CGM.
