COSCO SHIPPING Specialized signed 12 MPP pulp carrier chartering contracts Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-06-13 14:57

On June 10, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers announced that COSCOL (HK) Investment & Development, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, signed five, two and five 70,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp carrier chartering contracts with CMB Financial Leasing, SPDB Financial Leasing and Bocomm Leasing respectively, with a total of 74.022 million US dollars.
 
The companies operates the vessels on an operating chartering for 15 years, with a time chartered freight of US$16,900/day/vessel.
 

The three leasing companies are responsible for the daily management of the ship, the supply of spare parts and materials, the ship repair, the provision of crew, the purchase of insurance, etc., and collect the chartered freight.
