On August 3, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute signed a contract for the procurement of scrubbers for 3 + 4 210000 DWT Newcastle bulk carriers, which is another strong cooperation between the two sides after signing the contract of desulphurization equipment for 10 capesize bulk cargo ships in 2019.
Wang Jingjun, deputy general manager of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, and Chen Jin, deputy director of SMDERI signed the contract respectively on behalf of both parties.
