Recently, Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry and Shanghai SC Shipping signed a construction contract for two 7200 DWT stainless steel chemical/product tankers through "cloud contract".
The tanker is 111.4 meters long, 17.6 meters wide and 9.4 meters deep, with a deadweight of 7,200 metric tons. The liquid cargo tank is made of stainless steel and can carry more than 700 types of IMO class II-&III liquid bulk chemicals, which can meet most of the domestic chemical cargo needs.
The two 7200 DWT stainless steel chemical/product tankers signed this time are the follow-up ships of the 7200 DWT project cooperated with Shanghai SC Shipping. The first two ships, Wutong and Mumian, already delivered in October 2021 and March 2022 respectively. Wutong has been successfully included in the Significant Ships of 2021 recently.
