Hong Kong-listed ship leasing firm CSSC Shipping has ordered four 1,100 feeder containerships to be built by its parent company, China State Shipbuilding Corporation's Wuchang Shipbuilding.
The transaction, worth a little over US91m, is being conducted through the leasing company's subsidiary CA Shipping, a joint venture between CSSC Shipping's Fortune Vcontainer Carriers and ASL Navigation.
The vessels' estimated time of delivery is between January and August 2024.
