Belgian shipowner Compagnie Maritime Belge (CMB) ordered two 210,000DWT bulk carriers at CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding, bringing the total number of orders for the same type ships to 10.
On March 31, Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding announced that it signed a construction contract for two 210,000 DWT bulk carriers with a well-known European shipowner. And the two ships met the design requirements of ammonia-ready.
Up to now, Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding has undertaken 6 210,000 DWT ammonia-ready bulk carriers.
As the main ship type of Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding, it has received a total of 31 orders of the 210,000 DWT bulk carrier in recent years, and new projects are under continuous negotiation.
