Erasmus takes delivery of the first-ever LPG Gas Carrier Glory Ships 2022-02-11 11:00

Erasmus Group announced the successful takeover of the first-ever LPG Gas Carrier =Astrid= (2010'built by Kanrei Zosen, 5000CBM fully-pressurized type) into the company's fast-expanding fleet on 10th February 2022!

The ship will serve her Switzerland & France based Time Charterers, being one of the world's largest gas-trading companies, to be commercially managed by Erasmus group's offices out of Greece & Japan, and being managed by Singapore & China based ship-managers using Indian crews onboard. In this respect, not only the sports/Olympics unite the people around the world, but also the great shipping industry does!

It is symbolically the first time ever that Erasmus Shipinvest Group officially jumps outside the comfort-zone of oceangoing dry-bulk domain, and the company do hope to see more LPG gas vessels to come under Erasmus Gas platform in the near future.

Exactly as Peter Thiel said in his masterpiece book <<Zero to One>>: “Every one of today's most famous and familiar ideas was once unknown and suspected.” It's always a learning course for our company and also at personal levels, and to this extent we much appreciate the precious support and helps from all our commodities majors/trading customers and business partners so far and going forward!
