CDB Leasing spends US$142 million to acquire 21 ships xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-12-22 16:11

China Development Bank Leasing and Cyprus shipowner Schoeller Holdings reached a financial chartering agreement to acquire 21 ships and lease them back for a total price of US$142 million.
 
The 21 SPVs as charterers belong to Cyprus shipowner Schoeller, which is a single-ship company established by Schoeller Holdings.
 
The 17 feeder container ships are 1221TEU "Cape Flores", 2741TEU "Cape Manus", 2742TEU "Cape Martin", 2758TEU "Cape Moss", 1732TEU "Cape Nabil", 1740TEU "Cape Nemo", 2758TEU "Cape Male", "Cape Manila" and "Cape Marin", 1440TEU "Cape Faro", "Cape Fawley", "Cape Felton", "Cape Ferrol" , "Cape Flint", "Cape Forby", "Cape Franklin" and "Cape Fulmar".
 
The four product/chemical tankers are 73,634 dwt "Cape Tallin" and "Cape Tees", 35,156 dwt "Cape Bacton" and 35,089dwt "Cape Bradley".
