Wan Hai Lines expanded its purchase of second-hand ships. On the 7th, Wan Hai Lines issued an announcement to purchase two 1774TEU second-hand ships for a total of 78 million U.S. dollars. They are expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2022 and put on the Asian line.
 
Beginning in 2020, Wan Hai has invested tens of billions of capital for three consecutive years, and is expected to spend 888 million US dollars in 2022 for the expansion of new shipbuilding, container building, and purchase of second-hand ships.

As of the third quarter, Wan Hai has 148 ships in operation, 58% of which are owned and 42% chartered, with a capacity of 416,585 TEU, ranking 10th in the world.
