World's largest heavy-lift ship joins Chipolbrok's fleet xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-12-07 16:10


On December 6, Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company celebrated its 70th anniversary. On the same day, four 62000 DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose vessel "TAI XING" built by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard were christened and delivered, which also demonstrated the core technology and excellent manufacturing capacity of CSSC Chengxi in the field of small and medium-sized ships.
 
In the hard time of COVID-19's sudden arrival, and the resumption of domestic production, CSSC Chengxi and Chipolbrok signed contracts for the construction of 4 62000DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose vessels, highlighting the traditional friendship between the two sides.

"TAI XING" is the first of four heavy-lift multi-purpose ships built by CSSC Chengxi for Chipolbrok. It is also the world's largest heavy-lift multi-purpose ship.
 
The ship has a total length of 199.90m, a width of 32.26m, a depth of 19.30m, a full load draft of 13.5m, a design draft of 11.30m and a service speed of 14.40 knots.
 
"TAI XING" is in line with the development trend of green, low-carbon and environmental protection in the industry. It meets the requirements of EEDI Phase Ⅲ and NOx Tier III, and meet the latest SOx emission requirements. Its advanced design and excellent suitability will provide customers with better services.
 
At present, Chipolbrok operates nearly 30 heavy-lift vessels, with a capacity of about 1 million dwt, the routes cover major ports around the world, and the company is committed to becoming a professional and leading integrated shipping logistics service provider.
