China's largest cruise company settled in Shanghai xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-12-02 16:31


On November 30, CSSC Carnival (Shanghai) Cruise Shipping, the largest cruise company in China jointly established by China State Shipbuilding Corporation and Carnival Group, officially settled in Baoshan District, Shanghai.
 
It marks the arrival of a new era for the development of China's cruise industry led by Chinese cruise industry market players with global vision, professional management level and standardized operation ability.
 
CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping has ordered 2+4 135,500DWT "Vista" class large cruises from Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation.

At present, China's first large-scale cruise is expected to be delivered in 2023. The second China-made cruise ship under CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping has officially entered the design and construction stage.
