MIO index is clear and intuitive, allowing marine, port and shipping companies, bunkering companies and shipowners involved in bunkering operations can clearly grasp the meteorological suitability of bunkering operation in each time period of anchorage in the next 5 days, which greatly improves the efficiency of bunkering management and operation in anchorage.
From 2021 to 2023, Zhoushan Meteorological Bureau will also build 4 meteorological buoys at oil supply anchorages, and develop a smart port and shipping weather forecast service system to continuously improve the level of intelligence and grid refinement of marine weather forecast services.
