CSSC Guangxi delivered two first-made ships xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-11-03 17:11

On November 2, the "Green Pearl River" project LNG single fuel-powered ship, the first two types of ships-3000DWT bulk carrier "DA FENG 3001", 2000DWT bulk carrier "ZHONG HE 2001" were successfully delivered, marking the phased achievements of CSSC's joint efforts to serve the national strategy of green development in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area.
Both types of ships were designed by the 605th Research Institute under CSSC and built by CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering.
 
The 3,000dwt LNG single-fuel-powered bulk carrier, "DA FENG 3001", has a total length of 64.99 meters, a design draft of 4.2 meters, a design speed of 9 knots, an economic speed of 6.3 knots, and an endurance of 800 nautical miles; The 2000dwt LNG single-fuel-powered bulk carrier "ZHONG HE 2001" has a total length of 59.9 meters, a design draft of 3.5 meters, a design speed of 9 knots, an economic speed of 6.3 knots, and an endurance of 800 nautical miles.
 
The design of the two types of ships adheres to the concept of green ships, adopts LNG single fuel power system, combines the current highest emission control standards, and carries out serialization and standardization research and design.
 
At present, the first batch of 50 LNG single-fuel-powered transport ships of the "Green Pearl River" project have all started. In addition to the two first-made ships that have been delivered, 13 ships are planned to be delivered this year.
