According to data from Ministry of Transport, from January to September, China's ports completed cargo throughput of 11.548 billion dwt, an increase of 8.9% year-on-year and completed container throughput of 211 million TEU, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%.

Among them, coastal ports completed cargo throughput of 7.46 billion dwt, an increase of 6.3% year-on-year and completed container throughput of 186 million TEU, an increase of 8.9% year-on-year.
In September, there was no change in the rankings of the two lists, except that the growth rate has further slowed down. In terms of container throughput, Dongguan Port has remained at the same level as last year, while Fuzhou Port’s throughput growth rate has turned negative. The growth rate of cargo throughput has not fallen much and has entered a stable growth range.

According to customs data, imports and exports in September increased by 15.4% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 3.5% from August.
