On the morning of October 18, Dalian COSCO Khi Ship Engineering held the christening and delivery ceremony of the 61,000-dwt bulk carrier "BBG GUILIN".
This is another ship christened after "BBG BAISE" on September 28. It is also the second 61,000-dwt bulk carrier built by DACKS for SPDB.
"BBG GUILIN" is a 61,180 dwt handymax bulk carrier, with a total length of 199.9 meters, a width of 32.24 meters, and a draft of 13.00 meters. The safety, functionality, energy conservation and environmental protection of the ship is in the leading position in the industry.
The energy-saving technology adopted by the ship effectively reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and its safety meets HCSR.
With the delivery of new ships, BG Shipping has taken another step towards becoming a world-class dry bulk shipping company.
