On October 9, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry,China Shipbuilding Trading and China Merchants Energy Shipping signed a contract to build a 115,000DWT crude carrier.

The 115,000DWT crude carrier signed this time is a new Aframax tanker independently developed and designed by DSIC in combination with the needs of CMES, which meets the latest international conventions.

The total price for the 115,000 DWT Aframax crude carrier is $51.5 million.

With the current shortage of newbuilding orders in the oil tanker market as a whole, the tripartite cooperation highlights the competitiveness of DSIC in the oil tanker market.
