Wan Hai Lines issued two announcements, both involving container ordering.

According to the announcement, due to the replacement of the old and the business needs, Wan Hai ordered 30,000 TEU of containers from CIMC, with an average unit price of USD 3350 / TEU, and a total transaction amount of approximately 100 million US dollars.

In addition, Wan Hai also ordered 18,000TEU containers from Xiamen Pacific Container. The average unit price is USD 2672 / TEU, and the total transaction amount is USD 48.097 million.

The total transactions of these two orders amounted to about US $150 million.

Wan Hai explained that because the container type and delivery location are different, the unit price of the container is calculated on the average.

Due to the supply chain congestion, the current turnover speed of containers is slow, and the market demand for containers is still growing significantly.
