CSE and BSIC signed an order agreement for 30 sets of main engines xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-08-11 13:56

On August 9, 2021, the long-term cooperation and the signing ceremony of the order agreement for 30 sets of main engines were held between China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Diesel Engine and Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry.
 
Before the signing of the agreement, the two sides conducted in-depth communication and exchange on the future cooperation in the fields of container ship power, large bulk carrier power, new energy ship technology, main engine maintenance and service of ship repair industry, LNG power refitting and so on.
 
In recent years, BSIC has secured the world's first performance of very large ore carriers and large bulk carriers striving to be the top three in the world. It has undertaken batches of new products such as 5500TEU container ships and 210K dual-fuel bulk carriers.
 
Both parties will take the signing of this agreement as an opportunity to actively respond to the relevant national policies of "peak carbon dioxide emissions" and "carbon neutrality", and carry out the application and research of hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, LNG and other energy power.
