On July 1, Guangzhou Shipyard International PANGAEA 95,000DWT ice-enhanced bulk carrier No. 2 departed from the factory for its maiden voyage. The project was delivered on June 29.

The ship is the second ship of the "2+2" Ice-1A-class 95,000DWT ice bulk carrier signed by Guangzhou Shipyard International on January 28, 2019. This type of ship is the first ice-enhanced bulk carrier built by Guangzhou Shipyard International.

It is suitable for loading bulk cargo, such as coal, ore, grain, etc., with a total of 7 warehouses. The ice-breaking capacity can reach Ice-1A level. Under cold sea conditions at 20°C, it can drive normally when crushing ice with a thickness of less than 0.8 meters.

The ship left dock on April 3 and finally set sail for trial on June 9. It took 66 days from dock to trial.
