Hubei Port Group has achieved "three doublings" after its establishment. First, the port cargo throughput capacity has doubled, from 100 million dwt to 205 million dwt.
Second, the number of berths in the terminal has doubled, from 68 to 179, of which 60% of the newly added berths are berths above 3000 dwt.
Third, the navigation mileage covered by the terminal has doubled, from 720 kilometers to 1,545 kilometers, of which the Yangtze River has added 505 kilometers and the Han River has added 320 kilometers.
In the future, Hubei Port Group will continue to make efforts to build a multimodal transport system, develop bulk commodity trade, build characteristic industrial parks, open up new logistics channels, build green and smart ports, etc., and build a "port carrier" of 100 billion level.
