4 more ships! Yangfan has won orders for 15 new ships in 3 months xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-06-28 16:57

On June 22, 2021, Yangfan Group and Shanghai Jinjiang Shipping signed a shipbuilding contract for 2+2 1900TEU energy-saving Bangkok-type container ships.
 
These energy-saving Bangkok-type feeder container ships were designed by SDARI, with a length of 171.95 meters, a width of 27.5 meters, and a depth of 14.50 meters.
 
The fuel consumption and loading capacity indicators are better than those of the same type of ships in the current market, meeting the requirements of EEDI III. It is the latest generation of Bangkok-type feeder container ship, and the project will be delivered within 2023.
 
Since March 2021, including the above orders, Yangfan Group has signed 15 newbuilding orders with domestic and foreign shipowners, including 1 chemical tanker, 4+2 bulk carriers and 6+2 feeder containers.
 
On May 17, 2021, Yangfan Group and its old customer German shipowner Vega Reederei signed an order for four 1868TEU Bangkok-type feeder container ships. =
 
On April 29, 2021, Yangfan Group and another German shipowner, H. Vogamann Reederei, signed an order for 4+2 40,000 DWT bulk carrier. The order became effective on May 7, 2021.
 
On March 5, 2021, Yangfan Group successfully signed a contract for the construction of a 20,000DWT crude carrier. The contracted ship has a length of 158.69 meters, a model width of 27 meters, a deadweight draft of 9.5 meters, a design draft of 8.5 meters, a deadweight of approximately 23,000DWT, a main engine power of 4,200 kW, and a design speed of 13 knots.
