The Export-Import Bank of China Guangdong Branch issued a US$150 million ship prepayment guarantee for Guangzhou Shipyard International, which will support GSI to build 3 export 16000TEU container ships.
This type of ship is about 366 meters long and 51 meters wide. It can carry more than 16,000 containers. After completion, it will be the largest container ship built in South China.
The 16000TEU container ship is a green, environmentally friendly, high-efficiency and energy-saving large-scale container ship. It is equipped with a scrubber and reserved LNG power function. It adopts a new concept of environmental protection and carbon reduction design to meet the latest environmental protection emission standards.
