Waigaoqiao delivered another 210,000DWT Newcastlemax bulk carrier for Foremost xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-06-01 11:51

On May 31, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding successfully christened the 210,000 DWT Newcastlemax bulk carrier "PENG MAY" built for Foremost Group.
 
This is the ninth of the 10 bulk carriers of this batch built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding for Foremost Group, and it is also the 23rd ship christened and delivered to Foremost Group over the years.
 
"PENG MAY" is a new generation of green and environmentally friendly Newcastlemax bulk carrier independently designed and built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, and is also a branded ship type in the world's large bulk carrier market.
 
The ship has a total length of 292 meters, a width of 45 meters, and a depth of 24.9 meters. It is classified into ABS classification society. It meets the latest maritime regulations and various environmental protection requirements such as IMO Tier III and HCSR, and its comprehensive performance has reached the world's first-class level.
