On May 7, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry, China State Shipbuilding Trading and Minsheng Financial Leasing signed a contract for the construction of two new 16,000 TEU container ships.
 
The project is the same type ship of 7 16000 TEU container ships undertaken by DSIC in March this year.
 
The total length of the ship is 366 meters, the width of the ship is 51 meters, using the new concept of environmental protection carbon reduction, fully meet the latest environmental protection emission standards, is a green environmental protection, high efficiency and energy saving large container ship.
 
The transaction structure of the project continues the structure of 16000TEU series ships, that is, a European liner company provides long-term chartering contract, and Minsheng Financial Leasing provides financing to sign the construction contract.
 
The successful signing of this project has enhanced DSIC's market share in the international large container ship market, and further enhanced DSIC's brand effect and market competitiveness in the international market.
