South Korea's HSD Engine received an order from the Chinese Shipyard xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-05-06 16:22

South Korean Marine Engine company HSD Engine has signed a contract with China's Yangzijiang International Trading to supply marine engines at a price of 64 billion won ($57.5 million).
 
The execution period of the contract is from April 26, 2021 to March 26, 2023, which is approximately 1 year and 11 months.
 
HSD Engine said: "Under the terms of the agreement, HSD Engine will supply marine engines for eight container ships being built by China's Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group. The execution period of the contract will be adjusted according to the progress of the ship's construction schedule."
 
HSD Engine is the world's second largest manufacturer of marine diesel engines after Hyundai Heavy Industries, with a revenue of 830 billion won ($740 million) in 2020.
