X-Press orders 4 7000TEU container ships in Waigaoqiao xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-04-26 11:40

On April 23, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of CSSC, and China Shipbuilding Trading signed a contract with Singapore's Sea Consortium for the construction of four 7,000TEU container ships.
 
Singapore's Sea Consortium is a subsidiary of X-Press, one of the world's leading feeder container operators. X-Press has a fleet of up to 130 feeder container ships with operations and services covering 200 ports worldwide.
 
As China's first large container ship builder, Waigaoqiao entered the container ship market in 2013 and successfully built and delivered 4600/4700/9000/18000/20000TEU container ships.
 
Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding once ranked No.1 in the world in terms of orders for ultra-large container ships, and has accumulated rich experience in the construction and delivery of large container ships
