On April 16th, the signing ceremony for the construction project of four container ships of Sinotrans Container Lines was held in Shanghai.
The construction project of two 2400TEU container ships is an important witness of the "state-owned - private" alliance between China Merchants Group and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.
The four container ships contracted to be built this time adopt the third-generation ship type designed by SDARI, equipped with intelligent energy efficiency management, intelligent pollution bottom monitoring and other intelligent systems. They are green, energy-saving and environment-friendly ships.
The four ships will be delivered in 2023. After it is put into operation, it will enhance the capacity of route service and become a pilot of digital one-stop boutique service for Asian shipping.
