Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and Nisshin Shipping Co., Ltd., the Japanese shipping company, co-signed shipbuilding contracts for 10 of the 82,000-ton bulk carriers via "cloud signing" on April 16, 2021. Representatives of Nisshin and Hantong signed the construction contracts.

These orders are the fourth batch of ships placed by Nisshin in Hantong dated back to 2013. Prior to this, Hantong has built and delivered 18 bulk carriers of different tonnages for Nisshin with high quality. Hantong wins the solid trust from Nisshin by its high quality and timely delivery once again. This time, the two parties efficiently completed the negotiation and signing of contracts and specifications for 10 of the 82,000-ton bulk carriers within three weeks. This batch of newbuilding orders will be delivered before August 2023.
