On April 15, Jiangnan Shipyard named and delivered the 2200TEU feeder container ship "NAKSKOV MAERSK" for ICBC Leasing. The ship will join Maersk's fleet after delivery.
It is reported that on March 20, 2019, Maersk signed the contract with Jiangnan through financial leasing mode. This is also the first cooperation between Maersk and CSSC in the field of container ships.
The 2200TEU feeder container ship is designed by MARIC. It is a reefer container ship and is classified into China Classification Society (CCS).
The ship has a total length of 172 meters, a width of 32.2 meters and a capacity of 2208 TEU, including 396 FEU reefer container ships and 100 spare reefer container spaces. The whole ship is equipped with water spray system and three 40 ton crane.
