On April 13, ZhongGu Logistics announced that it plans to raise no more than 3 billion yuan for container ship purchase projects.
ZhongGu said it will raise 1.5 billion yuan and invest a total of 3.9514 billion yuan in the construction of 16 new 4600TEU container ships.
ZhongGu has signed a contract to build 10 4600TEU container ships with Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding, and a contract to build 6+2 4600TEU container ships with China Merchants Jinling Shipyard.
On the same day, ZhongGu Logistics released another performance announcement, saying that in 2020, the top line of ZhongGu Logistics exceeded 10 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 10.419 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.24%.
According to Alphaliner data, the integrated container capacity of ZhongGu Logistics is 168,265TEU, ranking 13th in the world.
