On April 7, the cruise ship "VIKING SUN" went through the customs formalities and officially arrived at the cruise port of Shekou.
This is the first Chinese-flagged high-end ocean cruise officially entered the country, which is of epoch-making significance in China's cruise industry.
"VIKING SUN", ordered by China Merchants Viking Cruises, is one of the most advanced offshore cruise ships of Viking Cruises. It is 228.3 meters long, 28.8 meters wide, has a total tonnage of 47,800 tons, has 465 cabins and can accommodate 930 passengers.
Upon completion of the ownership transfer, it will be officially registered under Chinese flag, becoming the first high-end ocean cruise with Chinese flag.
