The largest single container ship order in the history of China's shipbuilding industry has been secured by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry and Guangzhou Shipyard International. In just one week, CSSC has received orders for 19 10,000TEU container ships.
On March 31, China Shiptrading Trading, a subsidiary of CSSC, joined hands with DSIC and Guangzhou Shipyard International to successfully undertake 13 orders for 16000TEU container ships with a total value of over 10.6 billion yuan.
Seven vessels will be built by DSIC and six by GSI, with deliveries scheduled for 2023 to 2024.
The series container ships are independently designed by MARIC, all of which adopt the WinGD main engine of CSSC.
The ship's about 366 meters, 51 meters wide, can carry 16000 standard containers, is a green environmental protection, high efficiency and energy saving of large container ship.
