On March 30, CDB Leasing announced its 2020 annual results.
In 2020, CDB Leasing's annual operating performance reached a higher level. The company's total assets exceeded 300 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 303.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.08%.
Operating income was 19.329 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.37%; Net profit was 3.268 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.24%; Average return on equity was 12.50%, an increase of 0.72 percentage points from last year.
104.4 billion yuan was invested in new business, a year-on-year increase of 11.96%; The non-performing asset ratio was 0.80%, a decrease of 0.09 percentage points from last year.
In 2020, CDB Leasing delivers a total of 32 ships, and the proportion of mainstream ship types has further increased. In the whole year, 19 newbuilding ships were received with a value of 620 million U.S. dollars; 8 newbuilding contracts were signed with a project value of 400 million U.S. dollars.
