On March 24, CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding signed a contract for the construction of two 1900TEU container ships with Asean Seas Line.
The 1900TEU container ship was independently developed and designed by Huangpu Wenchong. It has a length of 172 meters, a width of 27.5 meters, a structural draft of 10 meters, and a speed of 18.5 knots. Compared with the traditional Bangkok container ship, its packing capacity and fuel consumption have been greatly improved.
The order is the 12th and 13th consecutive 1900TEU container ships recently signed by Huangpu Wenchong.
