After ZPMC's president resigned, Zhu Lianyu, ZPMC's chairman, also resigned. Both positions were held by Liu Chengyun, Assistant General Manager of CCCC and secretary of the party committee of ZPMC.
 
On March 19, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries announced that the company's chairman Zhu Lianyu resigned from the company's director and chairman positions.

According to the relevant provisions of the company's articles of association, the legal representative of the company was changed to Mr. Liu Chengyun.
 
ZPMC is one of the largest port machinery manufacturers in the world and owns a fleet of more than 20 transportation vessels which are from 60,000 DWT to 100,000 DWT can deliver large products in whole to all over the world.
 
As of September 30, 2020, ZPMC's total assets were 79.113 billion yuan, and the net assets attributable to shareholders of listed companies were 13.903 billion yuan. Operating income (January-September) was 14.473 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.86%; Net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 192 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 21.01%.
