As Members are aware from our News Alert of 21 January 2021 (click here), the US Department of Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) recently designated Venezuelan National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), the Venezuelan Maritime Authority (amongst other entities). OFAC have now issued Venezuela-related General License 30A dated 2 February 2021, "Authorizing Certain Transactions Necessary to Port and Airport Operations." This allows certain transactions ordinarily incidental and necessary to operations or use of ports where these relate to lawful trade. A copy of the Licence is available here.
