Shanghai Dingheng ordered six chemical tankers! xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-01-18 16:56

On January 16, 2021, Shanghai Dingheng Group, Wuhu Shipyard, and Jiangsu Financial Leasing, signed a contract for the construction of 6 stainless steel smart chemical tankers.
 
The signing marks the acceleration of Dingheng's "100 Ships Plan", the firm goal of completing the construction of 100 Ships by 2028, and the opening of a new chapter of intelligent and green shipping.
 
The six chemical tankers contracted this time, five of which are 6,600 dwt diesel-powered and electric-driven chemical tankers. The design will realize intelligent engine room, intelligent energy efficiency management, intelligent cargo system, intelligent navigation and intelligent data integration platform, which will reduce fuel consumption by more than 15% compared with the same type of ships, and reduce ship manning by about 35%.
