The second 62,000 dwt multi-purpose pulp ship, named N1007, was delivered by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Dalian) on Dec. 21 for COSCO Shipping Development. This ship is the tenth series multi-purpose pulp ship delivered by the company, which will be operated by COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers after delivery.
 
The christening and delivery ceremony was held on the ship N1007, and representatives of the shipowner's supervision group, Tianjin Cosbulk Ship Management Co., LTD., China Classification Society and the company's project team attended the ceremony.
 
"COSCO SHIPPING HONOR" is 201.8 meters long, 32.26 meters wide and 19.3 meters deep. It is registered under the Hong Kong flag and entered the China Classification Society. The ship is equipped with 6 cargo tanks, which has good water tightness and is suitable for loading pulp.
 
The cargo tank is equipped with a dehumidification system to ensure the quality requirements during transportation. The deck is equipped with 4 sets of 75T cranes, double cranes can lift up to 150T, which can meet the requirements of loading large equipment.
 
It is suitable for high-speed rail trains, wind power equipment, large mechanical equipment, and long and heavy steel pipe pile structures.
