SANFU delivered a 2400TEU container ship xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-11-27 16:56


The 2400TEU container ship "Huida 9", built by Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding for Fujian shipowners, left Sanfu Wharf for its maiden voyage at 16:00 on November 25, 2020.

The ship has a total length of 180M, a length of 177M, a depth of 16.2m, a design draft of 10.7m and a speed of 14.5 knots. It is classified into China Classification Society.

The ship was launched on August 25, 2020, and had a trial sailing on October 26, 2020. It took 5 days to complete various sea trials and return on October 30, 2020.

On November 10, 2020, the ship was successfully witnessed by four parties and obtained the classification society certificate.

The ship is the sixth vessel in the 2400TEU container ship series built by Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding, which was developed and designed by SDARI.

At present, Sanfu has obtained orders for several new 2400TEU container ships for domestic trade and 2800TEU container ships, as well as orders for many foreign multi-purpose vessels. The production plan has been scheduled to 2022.
