Two Newcastle bulk carriers, "Solar Pride" and "Solar Quantum", built by CSSC's Shanghai Wgaaoqiao Shipbuilding for South Korea's Polaris Shipping, were delivered on Tuesday morning.
The 210,000 dwt Newcastle bulk carrier is a ship independently designed by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, and it is classified into BV.
The ship adopts a new green energy-saving design, its speed/fuel consumption and other performance indicators are better than the traditional capsize bulk carrier.
Polaris Shipping is the third largest owner of South Korea, a world-famous owner of ore vessels, and has maintained good cooperation with the company.
