Yangfan delivered the 7800PCTC ship to the Italian shipowner! xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-10-22 15:30


On October 19, 2020, the 7800PCTC series ship "Grande Florida" (ship No. GM05) was officially signed and delivered by Zhejiang East Coast Shipping, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yangfan Group, for the Italian shipowner Grimaldi.

The ship is the fifth ship to be delivered to the same owner following the successful delivery of the previous "GRANDE NEW JERSEY" (Ship No. GM04) in September.

The ship has a total length of 199.9 meters, a width of 36.45 meters, a depth of 34.27 meters, a design draft of 8 meters, a design of 12 car decks, with the flexibility and versatility of various large vehicles;

With a total floor area of 62,000 square metres, the 12 decks stretch out to the size of 12 standard football pitches and can actually carry 7,800 cars.

Installation of scrubbers and ballast water treatment system and other energy-saving and environmental protection devices, according to the classification standards of Italy RINA, and meet the requirements of Green Passport and IMO EEDI, with safety and environmental protection, high loading and unloading efficiency, high stability, less ballast, low fuel consumption and other characteristics.
