On the morning of 14 October, the naming ceremony of 83500DWT chemical tanker built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for the owner of KLAVENESS in Norway was successfully held.
“BANGUS”, the fifth in a series of eight vessels built by Yangzijiang for its owners, commenced construction on June 26, 2019, was docked on December 23 of the same year, and was successfully docked on April 23 of this year.
According to the owner's feedback, vessel No. 4, "BALEEN", which was delivered on 4 August this year, is currently carrying sodium hydroxide goods and is in transit.
The other three sister ships previously delivered in the same series also operated well in both wet and dry mode.
