ZhongGu officially holds 49% stake in Dongguan Port Container Terminal xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-10-15 15:07


ZhongGu Logistics has completed the transfer of 49% equity in Dongguan Port International Container Terminals, which is held by Singapore's DGCT.

After the completion, Dongguan Port Group and ZhongGu Logistics will hold 51% and 49% of the Company respectively.

This move will further establish the strategic partnership between ZhongGu Logistics and Dongguan Port Group, and also deepen the exchange and cooperation between ZhongGu and DGCT.

In 2019, the container throughput of Dongguan port exceeded 4 million TEU, ranking the third in the coastal ports of Guangdong province and the 12th in the coastal ports of China.

Dongguan Port container terminal has two 50,000-ton container berths with a capacity of 1.7 million TEU.

As one of the largest domestic container shipping enterprises in China, ZhongGu Logistics owns more than 120 large coastal container ships and operates more than 60 coastal transport trunk lines, covering almost all the hub ports in China's coastal areas. It is also one of the major domestic container shipping enterprises in south China.
