On October 10, the 180,000 dwt capesize bulk carrier "SHANDONG DE YUN", built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, was named and delivered to Shandong Shipping, which is the sixth capesize bulk carrier delivered to Shandong Shipping this year.

"SHANDONG DE YUN" is the latest SWS standard capesize bulk carrier developed, designed and built by the company. It is a high-quality ship designed and built to meet the owners' economic and environmental requirements. It is also a brand ship in the world's large bulk carrier market.

The ship, with a total length of 292 meters, a width of 45 meters and a depth of 24.9 meters, is eligible for IMO Tier III and HCSR.

The ship adopts the new green and energy-saving design, and at the same speed, the fuel consumption of the ship is significantly reduced compared with that of the previous generation of the same ship type.

Since 2014, Shandong Shipping and Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding have signed contracts for four offshore jack-up drilling platforms and the construction of 10 180,000 dwt capsize bulk carriers, establishing a comprehensive, friendly and cooperative partnership.
