China's largest ship registered as Yangpu Port xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-09-23 16:52

On September 23, COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation's 319,000 DWT ship "YUANHUA YANG" completed ship registration, marking that the largest DWT ship in China has officially registered as "Yangpu Port, China".

Three months after the implementation of Hainan International Shipping Registration Preferential Policy, "Yangpu Port" has become increasingly attractive. According to statistics, the registered deadweight tonnage of a single ship jumped from 60,000 dwt in June to 150,000 dwt in August and then to 300,000 dwt in September. The shipping of Hainan Free Trade Port is entering the fast track of development.

17 kinds of maritime documents, such as ship ownership registration certificate and certificate of registry, can be applied for and settled on the spot on the date of completion of ship construction.

Maritime authorities will further improve ship registration procedures and gradually liberalize statutory ship inspection and relevant supporting shipping policies.
