1. CHINA: New Inspection Regime for Yellow Fever Prevention 
Chinese Quarantine Authorities Enhance Inspection for Vessels from Nigeria, Peru, Brazil (except Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe) In Order to Prevent Yellow Fever into China
 
2. China 1st River-sea-through bulk carrier “JIANG HAI ZHI DA 1” completed its trial voyage on Jan 26. It is estimated to be delivered on March 2018.
 
3. China calls for stronger international cooperation on infrastructure construction and operation of the Arctic shipping routes, according to a white paper issued Friday.
 
4. Shanghai-listed Daqin Railway Co., Ltd expected full-year net profit attributable to shareholders to reach 13.34 billion yuan in 2017, surging 6.17 billion yuan or about 86% from a year ago.
 
5. Chinese ocean scientific research vessel Haiyang-6 docks at a port in Dongguan, south China's Guangdong Province, Jan. 30, 2018. The Haiyang-6 returned to Dongguan Tuesday after a 219-day deep-sea geological survey and marine research.
