On August 27, 2020, CIMC issued a notice entitled "Resignation of Chairman and President, Election of Chairman, Director, President and Appointment of special committee members of the Board of Directors".
According to the announcement, Wang Hong resigned as CIMC's chairman, non-executive director and all his positions on the special committee of the board, while Mai Bolang resigned as CIMC's president.
After being elected by the board of directors of CIMC, Mr. Mai Boliang, the current executive director, was appointed as chairman and CEO of CIMC Group with the effective date of August 27, 2020.
Gao Xiang is added as a candidate for the board of directors of CIMC Group, and as president of CIMC Group, effective on August 27, 2020.
