News Bulletins on January 30, 2018 



1. On the afternoon of 25th Jan., Mr. Huang Xiaowen, the Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING Headquarters met with Mr. Anchor Chang, the Chairman of Evergreen Marine. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the shipping related topics. 
 
2. On January 27, 2018, Mr. Xiao Yaqing, Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), led a delegation to the Noatum Terminal of COSCO SHIPPING Ports in Valencia, Spain, accompanied by Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Capt. Xu Lirong. 
 
3. China COSCO Shipping Group dropped 11 orders of 20000 TEU ships at four domestic shipyards in 2015. On Jan 29 this year,the second ship of the series, COSCO Shipping Taurus with its carrying capacity of 20119 TEU, was also successfully delivered on the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS).
 
4. At about 0000 on January 29, the Jinan Vessel (Side Number 152) of the East China Sea Fleet, who was carrying out the task at sea, successfully rescued 2 crew of Mongolian cargo ship off the coast of Wenzhou.
 
5. Shanghai, Monday 29 January 2018 – International shipping carrier, Safmarine, announced effective from 1st Feb 2018, Cindy Ruan will take the role of the new Head of Safmarine in Greater China. Safmarine is a part of the A.P. Moller Maersk Group.
