On the afternoon of August 10, China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen) and Jiangsu Fanzhou Shipping held the delivery and chartering ceremony of "China Merchants Heavy Industry No. 1".
The successful signing of the chartering contract of "China Merchants Heavy Industry No. 1" and the realization of ship delivery is an important measure for China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen) to revitalize idle assets timely according to the strategic adjustment of business structure.
"China Merchants Heavy Industry No. 1" is a 25,000 DWT semi-submersible barge built by China Merchants Heavy Industry. The ship is 140 meters long, 56 meters wide, 8.8 meters deep, with a maximum capacity of 25,000 DWT, a maximum draft of 5.75 meters, and a maximum sinking displacement of 71,825 tons.
Jiangsu Fanzhou Shipping has established cooperative relations with CNOOC, PetroChina, Sinopec and other well-known companies, and its business is spread all over the world.
