"SEACOR ATLAS", a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) project built by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) for SEACOR was delivered on Aug. 10.
"SEACOR ATLAS" has a total length of 83.75 meters, a width of 18 meters, and a maximum draft of 5.8 meters. It is designed with Rolls-Royce UT 771 in coordination with 2 full rotary electric propulsion systems, 1 lifting push and 1 pipe push, and has the advantages of flexibility and large deadweight tons.
The ship "SEACOR ATLAS" was originally scheduled to be delivered on April 20th. The shipowner representative of SEACOR cooperated closely with the PSV project team members to overcome multiple challenges such as the impact of the epidemic and ensure the delivery status of the project by the end of March.
"SEACOR ATLAS" is the 8th new ship delivered by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) in 2020, and the last new ship delivered by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry in the whole year.
